Granny’s Moving In

BBC (2013)

With costs of retirement homes rising, more people are choosing to take on the care of elderly relatives in their own homes. Sue and Phil carol, an East London couple are preparing to move Sue’s 83 year old mother, Peggy in with them. Peggy suffers from dementia and lives a determinedly independent lifestyle, going into town everyday and coming home late. “She’s got a mind of her own” says Sue “you can tell a ten year old what to do, how can you do that with you own mother?”
